Today I came to the realization that a regular at work is the author I met on one of my first morning shifts at my job. This realization has made me really excited because now I personally know someone who makes his living off of writing. It could be a turning point in my writing career because I always felt like being published and making money off of writing were nearly impossible. Knowing someone who is doing it makes it feel more real.
Also I will be reading his books to children at work in January. It will be an amazing experience to read a book by a person I personally know, and see regularly.
